Latin American travel company PriceTravel Holding has achieved 90% year-over-year (YoY) growth in sales so far this year in its LATAM region
The growth during January to August is fueled by the company’s expansion strategy, with the simultaneous launch of operations in 2024 across Latin America
This comprises Argentina, Brazil, Perú, Chile, Ecuador, and Uruguay; as well as the US and Europe.
These new operations add to its consolidated presence in Mexico, where it began operations in 2000, and in Colombia since 2012.
Tourism in Latin America has seen a steady increase in international visitors.
According to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the region welcomed 117 million international tourists in 2023, a 12% increase.
To meet demand from international markets, PriceTravel Holding has continued to expand to over 500,000 hotel options worldwide.
The company comprised the B2C brands TiquetesBaratos.com and PriceTravel.com, B2B wholesale with the PriceTravel Connect brand, B2B Retail with The PriceAgencies brand and PriceAffiliates, a B2B2C network of over 300 affiliated companies (airlines, hotels, banks, and travel programs).
“This growth reflects PriceTravel Holding’s commitment to strategic expansion in Latin America. By entering key markets, we have been able to consolidate our presence and offer tailored solutions to both end customers and B2B partners.”
The combination of a robust multichannel offering and continuous investment in technology allows us to anticipate the needs of a rapidly evolving sector,” said Jorge Restrepo, CEO of PriceTravel Holding.
