Karla Inelisse Guilfú Acevedo is a Puerto Rican certified yoga instructor, model and beauty queen originally from Patillas, Puerto Rico, United States. She earned her certification as a yoga teacher from Essential Yoga School in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
After graduating from Guamani Private School in Guayama, Puerto Rico, Guilfu entred the Universidad Ana G. Méndez – Recinto de Gurabo in Juncos, Gurabo, Puerto Rico. She is the chief executive officer and director of Comencemos a Sanar.
Currently, Gilfu is based in Caguas, Puerto Rico. She previously lived in Isla Culebra, Puerto Rico.

On April 7, 2018, she represented Patillas at Miss Teen World Puerto Rico 2018 and competed against 27 other candidates at Teatro Municipal de Cayey in Cayey, Puerto Rico. She ranked fifth and was crowned Miss Teen Mundial Puerto Rico 2018.
On July 29, 2018, she represented Puerto Rico at Miss Teen Mundial 2018, competed against 29 other candidates in El Salvador and finished in the Top 12.
In June 2019, she visited the Acropolis of Athens in Athens, Greece.
In August 2020, she reentered the UAGM – Recinto de Gurabo to pursue her master’s degree in counselling psychology.
On December 2, 2020, she was crowned Miss Supranational Puerto Rico 2020 in a special Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico 2020 program that aired on El Vocero along with Miss International Puerto Rico 2020 Natalia Colón Figueroa, Miss Grand International Puerto Rico 2020 Fabiola Valentín González and Miss Charm Puerto Rico 2020 Alejandra Pagan.
On August 21, 2021, she represented Puerto Rico at Miss Supranational 2021 and competed against 57 other candidates at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. She was named Miss Elegance and became runner-up to Chanique Rabe of Namibia.
On March 27, 2022, she attended the 2022 Academy Awards viewing party at El San Juan Hotel in Isla Verde, Carolina, Puerto Rico. On November 12, 2022, she met Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2022 Ashley Cariño at The Condado Plaza Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
On August 24, 2023, she represented Patillas at Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023 and competed against 29 other finalists at Luis A. Ferré Performing Arts Centerin in San Juan. She won the title.
She was 25 years old when she represented Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2023 and competed against 83 other candidates at the Gimnasio Nacional José Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador. She finished in the Top 5.
