An item Wendy’s is offering in Puerto Rico has the rest of the U.S. green with envy and demanding similar treatment from the fast-food chain.
Wendy’s customers are feeling slighted after learning a dessert offering that was released in Puerto Rico has not come to stores in the rest of North America.
This all started when food blogger Snackolator took to Instagram on Aug. 23 to give followers a sneak peek of the Creamy Cheesecake that’s available in Puerto Rico, which features a cheesecake-flavored Frosty in a cup topped with hazelnut cream.
“I’m always waiting for Wendy’s to find ways to elevate the Frosty whether a sundae or better mix-ins, but this could be a solid dessert option if they brought it here,” Snackolator wrote in the caption of the post.
He then asked his followers: “Would you want to see Wendy’s bring cheesecake to the states? If so, what topping do you want to be on it if not Nutella?”
In response, followers flooded the comments and expressed how much they’d want to see the menu item offered in the U.S. .”
“Yum!” one user commented, while another user expressed, “I was hoping this would be nationwide.”
While that was widely the sentiment among users, others began sharing ideas for what they’d like to see for a cheesecake offering here.
“Caramel cheesecake,” one Instagram user suggested while another chimed in with, “I want a Nutella frosty.”
