Concacaf Qualifiers for FIFA World Cup 2026 continue with Second Round

MIAMI — The Road to the FIFA World Cup 2026 continues in Concacaf as the Second Round of qualification begins for 30 nations from Central America and the Caribbean.

For the Second Round, the participating teams were divided into six groups of five. The top two nations from each group will move on to the Final Round.

Each country will play a home and away match during the June 2024 FIFA match window. Teams will have reached the halfway point of the Second Round, which will resume in June 2025.

Wednesday, June 5: Antigua and Barbuda vs. Bermuda
Thursday, June 6: Honduras vs. Cuba
Saturday, June 8: Cayman Islands vs. Antigua and Barbuda
Sunday, June 9: Bermuda vs. Honduras
Tuesday, June 11: Cuba vs. Cayman Islands

 

Antigua and Barbuda will be the first team to defend its home turf when it hosts Bermuda on Wednesday at the ABFA Technical Center in Piggotts. Honduras will host Cuba on Thursday at the Chelato Ucles National Stadium in Tegucigalpa.

The Cayman Islands will play their first qualifier on Saturday when they host Antigua and Barbuda at the Truman Bodden Stadium in George Town. Honduras will go on the road when it visits Bermuda at the National Sports Centre in Devonshire. Group A action concludes on Tuesday as Cuba welcomes the Cayman Islands to the Antonio Maceo Stadium in Santiago de Cuba.

Thursday, June 6: Costa Rica vs. St. Kitts and Nevis
Saturday, June 8: Bahamas vs. Trinidad and Tobago
Sunday, June 9: Grenada vs. Costa Rica
Tuesday, June 11: Kitts and Nevis vs. Bahamas

 

Trinidad and Tobago meets Grenada on Wednesday at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain. Costa Rica and St. Kitts and Nevis will be the group’s second act on Thursday at the National Stadium in San Jose.

The Bahamas will step on the field on Saturday to host Trinidad and Tobago at the SKNFA Technical Center in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis. Grenada faces a tough home challenge in Costa Rica on Sunday at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium in St. George’s. St. Kitts and Nevis will conclude Group B action against the Bahamas at Warner Park in Basseterre on Tuesday.

Curaçao and Barbados will open Group C on Wednesday at the Ergilio Hato Stadium in Willemstad. Haiti will meet St. Lucia on Thursday at Wildey Turf in Bridgetown, Barbados. Aruba will welcome Curaçao on Saturday at the Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Sports Complex in Oranjestad.

Barbados will meet Haiti on Sunday at Wildey Turf before St. Lucia and Aruba wrap up group play at the same venue on Tuesday.

Wednesday, June 5: Nicaragua vs. Montserrat
Thursday, June 6: Panama vs. Guyana
Saturday, June 8: Belize vs. Nicaragua
Sunday, June 9: Montserrat vs. Panama
Tuesday, June 11: Guyana vs. Belize

 

Nicaragua begins its World Cup campaign against Montserrat on Wednesday at the National Stadium in Managua. Panama hosts Guyana on Thursday at the Rommel Fernández in Panama City. Belize will welcome Nicaragua to the FFB Stadium in Belmopan on Saturday. Montserrat will stay in Managua to host Panama on Sunday at the Nicaragua National Stadium. Guyana and Belize conclude Group D fixtures on Tuesday at Wildey Turf in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Thursday, June 6: Jamaica vs. Dominican Republic
Saturday, June 8: British Virgin Islands vs. Guatemala

Guatemala hosts Dominica to open Group E on Wednesday at the Doroteo Guamuch Flores Stadium. Jamaica and the Dominican Republic will follow on Thursday from the National Stadium in Kingston.

The British Virgin Islands look to build on their best campaign against Guatemala on Saturday at the A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground in Road Town. Dominica faces Jamaica on Sunday at Windsor Park Sport Stadium in Roseau. To conclude Group E, the Dominican Republic meets the British Virgin Islands on Tuesday at the Panamericano Stadium on the outskirts of Santo Domingo.

Wednesday, June 5: Suriname vs. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Thursday, June 6: El Salvador vs. Puerto Rico
Saturday, June 8: Anguilla vs. Suriname
Sunday, June 9: Saint Vincent and the Grenadines vs. El Salvador
Tuesday, June 11: Puerto Rico vs. Anguilla

 

Suriname will open Group F by hosting Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Wednesday at the Dr. Ir. Franklin Essed Stadium in Paramaribo. El Salvador will meet Puerto Rico on Thursday at the Cuscatlan in San Salvador. Anguilla and Suriname meet on Saturday at the Raymond E. Guishard Stadium in Anguilla.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines remain in Suriname, where they will host El Salvador on Sunday at the Dr. Ir. Franklin Essed Stadium. Puerto Rico and Anguilla will close the June qualification slate on Tuesday night at the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium in Bayamon.
