Havana, Nov 25 (ACN) Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves extended his appreciation to Cuban electricity workers who left his country on Monday after having assisted his nation’s recovery actions from the impact of Hurricane Beryl.
During the farewell ceremony in the capital Kingstown for the Cuban workers, Urban Development Minister Benarva Browne stressed the professionalism, commitment, discipline and rigor at work by the Cuban personnel.
The Cuban electricity workers particularly assisted actions in Union Island, which was the hardest hit by the hurricane in July, PL news agency reported.
Cuban ambassador to Saint Vincent Carlos Rodriguez reiterated the island’s readiness to respond to the call of the sister Caribbean nation disregarding any adverse conditions.
