St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Pakistan form diplomatic ties

In a significant move toward enhancing global collaboration, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, alongside the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, have formally established diplomatic relations. 

This development was marked by the signing of a joint communiqué aimed at fostering international cooperation.

A historic signing in New York

The ceremony took place in New York on June 3, featuring key representatives from both nations. 

Ambassador Inga Rhonda King, representing Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at the United Nations, and her counterpart, Ambassador Munir Akram of Pakistan, were the signatories of the Joint Communique. 

This event not only symbolized the commitment of both countries to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations but also highlighted their dedication to nurturing friendly ties with nations around the world.

Anticipating future collaborations

Following this diplomatic milestone, the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines expressed its eagerness to explore avenues for both bilateral and multilateral cooperation with Pakistan.
