WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Smith’s Gardentown of Wichita Falls has again been named one of North America’s top 100 Garden Centers.
This list, compiled annually by Garden Center Magazine, is based on the individual companies’ sales and is only an honor given to independent garden centers. +
Fallstown Summer Jam set to be highlight of the summer
Michael Fiore, president of Smith’s, said this is especially notable because of the size of their operation.
“Most of the other stores on the list have multiple locations and are located in large metropolitan areas,” Fiore said. “Smith’s Gardentown is probably the only garden center on the list that has only one location in a market as small as the Wichita Falls area.”
Four other garden centers in Texas made the list, but all were in Austin, Dallas, or Houston.
“I believe this makes six times that we have been named to the Top 100,” Fiore said. “This is certainly a tribute to our great customers and professional staff.
Fiore represents the fourth generation to operate Smith’s Gardentown, which has been family-owned for over 75 years.
Smith’s Gardentown is located at 4940 Seymour Hwy.
