U.S. U-19 men complete South America sweep

The U.S. U-19 national team beat Uruguay 1-0 on an own goal to wrap up its camp at the Argentine federation’s training complex with two wins in two games.

• Next up: The Concacaf Under-20 Men’s Championship July 19-Aug. 4 in Celaya and Irapuato, Mexico.

• U.S. starting XI — Beaudry; Harangi, Norris, Murray, Akinmboni; Medina, Habroune, Rudisill; Olney, Zambrano, Oregal.

• U.S. U-16 women: Won its second game at a training camp in Germany, beating the hosts 4-2 on goals by Kyndall Schuler, Chloe Sadler, Pearl Cecil and Jaiden Rodriguez.

• U.S. starting XI — Folliard; Cecil, Whipple, Rodriguez, Fashinpaur; Neff, Kocher, Siria; Kemmerley, Sadler, Schuler.
