Brazil will face fellow South American heavyweights Uruguay in a mouthwatering Copa America quarterfinal after failing to beat Colombia on Tuesday night.
On what turned into a difficult night for the Selecao, Daniel Munoz canceled out Raphinha’s opener to ensure Colombia stole a draw, and top spot in Group D.
That means that Brazil will now have to face Uruguay in the quarter-finals, while Colombia will line up against Panama in a far easier draw.
What’s more, Brazil will have to go into the next game without talisman Vinicius Jr., who is suspended after an accumulation of yellow cards.
The other half of the draw was decided on Monday night, when the USMNT were dumped out of the competition at the first hurdle.

Lionel Messi and Argentina will open the knockout stages against Ecuador in Houston on Thursday night, before Venezuela and Canada face off in Arlington 24 hours later.
Panama-Colombia begins a Saturday double-header in Glendale, Arizona, before Uruguay-Brazil face off in Las Vegas to complete the quarterfinal stage.
From there, the tournament heads back to the east coast of America, with the two semi-finals taking place in North Carolina and New Jersey, before the final at the Miami Dolphins’ Hard Rock Stadium.
The USA and Mexico were the most high-profile exits from the group stages of Copa America, and they were joined by Chile, Peru, Jamaica, Bolivia, Costa Rica and Paraguay.
Of those, Costa Rica will perhaps count themselves the most unlucky, after they beat Paraguay 2-1 on the final matchday to finish on four points – the same as Canada and Ecuador achieved to qualify for the knockout rounds.
