TOKYO (Kyodo) — Japan’s men’s national rugby team will play a test against Uruguay on Nov. 16 in Chambery, France, the Japan Rugby Football Union said Wednesday.
Ranked 13th in the world, Japan have four wins and one loss against No. 17 Uruguay. The Brave Blossoms won their most recent meeting 43-7 in June 2022 in Kitakyushu.
Away matches have already been arranged for the Eddie Jones-coached Japanese side before and after the Uruguay match, against France on Nov. 9 and England on Nov. 24.
