Del. Plaskett has a creative opinion of the purpose of FBI, DOJ

Delegate Stacey Plaskett, a representative from the Virgin Islands, has a rather interesting interpretation of the purpose of the FBI and DOJ.

During a rant over the purpose of the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, of which she is a ranking member, she spouted a conspiracy theory that was immediately followed by something even stranger.

Watch:

Stacey Plaskett: The purpose of the DOJ and FBI is to “serve as a check against white nationalism, great replacement theorists, Christian nationalists, white fragility, fascists, and the twice impeached convicted felon, former president and would-be dictator Donald Trump.” pic.twitter.com/AYAZtch01v

“What is the point of this subcommittee? Because it’s necessary for the public and the media to hear, to try and provide cover for the eradication of the Department of Justice and the FBI,” she announced. “We’re having these hearings so that you become immune to the notion of the removal of the FBI and DOJ, so those agencies are no longer there to serve as a check against white nationalism, great replacement theorists, Christian nationalists, white fragility, fascists, and the twice impeached convicted felon, former president and would-be dictator Donald Trump.”

She also predicted that the subcommittee would be dissolved following the 2024 election, and then proceeded to list off all the profane names she predicts X users will call her.

Watch:

Del. @StaceyPlaskett says after the election, “Prayerfully, this select committee will be over, because the purpose of this committee will no longer be necessary…X, formally called Twitter, is going to call me a racist. They’re going to call me a disrespectful Black bitch…” pic.twitter.com/KjCvJB21lt

“In 46 days Americans will go to the polls for one of the most consequential elections of our lifetimes,” she said. “Americans will decide the composition of Congress, as well as the next president of the United States. Then, prayerfully, this select committee will be over, because the purpose of this committee will no longer be necessary.”

“What was that purpose? Well, it’s what I said almost two years ago: To test out a conspiracy theory, to prop up those stories that the far-right wishes to push into the American psyche, and to lay the groundwork for a dictatorial government led by [former President] Donald Trump,” she bizarrely stated. “Now immediately, you’ll hear moans of disapproval, and X, formerly called Twitter, is going to call me a racist. They’re going to call me a disrespectful Black bitch, because I have said words against the chairman, my white male counterpart on this committee, I’m a tool of the woke agenda. I’ve heard it, I’ve read it all, as well as so many of my colleagues who are here.”

“More moderate individuals will say I’m being an alarmist, and that there’s no way America becomes a dictatorship,” she continued. “Which is pointing out how the federal government comes after conservatives. But in the two years that we’ve doing this groundhog day over and over and over again, there has been no evidence to show that the federal government and in particular the Federal Bureau of Investigation or the Department of Justice have been wholly weaponized against the right. The same way my Republican colleagues have not been able to show that [President] Joseph Biden has committed impeachable offenses, or that Secretary [Alejandro] Mayorkas committed any high crimes or misdemeanors.”

X users chimed in on her rants:

This crazy racist lady again? Now playing the racist victim card?

This lunatic is yappin again?

Tolerance is how we arrived here. The number of people like her who serve in Congress is disturbing.

O. M. G. This woman really believes what she is saying.

This is what happens when you elect leaders who don’t have any idea what our constitution is all about.

Congressional leaders should be Constitutional experts.

The best argument yet for dismantling the DOJ and FBI.

Who in the hell does this chick think she is?! Who elects such blatant racists?! That’s how this works right….you don’t agree with someone and they are automatically racist…or is that only for the Demonrats to determine?! Someone better reel in the left before there is an all… pic.twitter.com/dqYfS4RuL4

She should consider speaking less and reading more. The absurdity of her political ideology is astounding.
