Alabama basketball received good recruiting news on Tuesday.
Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide earned a commitment from 2025 four-star forward Amari Allen on Tuesday, Allen announced on social media.

“I love the culture and the relationship I have built with the coaching staff,” Allen told On3, who he announced his decision with. “They have the formula to get guys like me to the league and I trust them and think I can get there with them.”
Allen, who attends Ashwaubenon High School in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is the No. 98-ranked player in the class, according to 247Sports’ Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 18 small forward and No. 4 player in Wisconsin.
The 6-foot-7 forward is the lone commit of Alabama’s 2025 class so far, although Oats signed four players and landed the nation’s No. 2-ranked class in 2024, which featured five-stars Derrion Reid and Aiden Sherrell and high four-star prospects Labaron Philon and Naas Cunningham.
The Crimson Tide are positioned to be among the top contenders in the country once again, as they return All-American guard Mark Sears and starting forward Grant Nelson from last season’s Final Four team. Alabama also added highly touted transfer Clifford Omoruyi from Rutgers.
