Earlier this week, one of the top names on the Alabama Crimson Tide’s 2025 baseball roster was named to the Perfect Game Preseason All-America Team in returning shortstop Justin Lebron.
Lebron was named a Preseason Third Team All-American by Perfect Game, the lone representation for the Crimson Tide. Alabama was also not named in Perfect Game’s Preseason Top 25 rankings, which were also released earlier this week.
A sophomore, Lebron is coming off one of the best freshman seasons that the Crimson Tide have seen at the shortstop position. Receiving multiple honors that included First Team All-SEC and First Team Freshman All-American, among others, Lebron saw action in 57 games for the Crimson Tide in which he slashed .338/.429/.546 with 12 home runs, 37 RBI, and seven stolen bases, and is likely to be among the SEC’s top shortstops once again this spring.
Lebron and the Crimson Tide are officially set to open the 2025 season Feb. 14 at home against Bradley.
