In Alabama’s most recent exhibition appearance against Wake Forest, the scoreboard in the historic Boutwell Auditorium nearly broke 100. Here’s what to know before the returning Final Four squad takes the floor again for a good cause:
Where is the game?
Alabama and Memphis will meet in Von Braun Center Propst Arena, named for rocket pioneer Dr. Wernher Von Braun, nowhere else other than “Rocket City.” The venue regularly hosts professional ice hockey team Huntsville Havoc and was previously the home of the now-defunct University of Alabama-Huntsville Chargers hockey team. The address is located at 700 Monroe Street Southwest in Huntsville.
How to buy tickets
Tickets for the event are sold out. For those who will be in attendance, Propst Arena is a cashless venue.
How to watch Alabama vs. Memphis
ESPN+ will stream Alabama vs. Memphis at 7 p.m. CST.
What’s the history of the matchup?
Memphis holds a 4-3 series lead over the Crimson Tide. When the two last faced off in December of 2022, Alabama walked away with a 91-88 victory. Memphis’ last series win came in December of 2021, the Tigers taking down Alabama, 92-78.
Where can I park in Huntsville for the game?
There are four parking areas at the VBC: the North Hall Parking Lot (P1), South Hall Parking Garage (P2), East Parking Lot/Box Office (P3) and Parking Lot V (P5). Areas P2 and P3 offer the most convenient access to Propst Arena. All VBC parking is cashless.
City parking can also be found nearby the Von Braun Center at Monroe Street City Parking Garage (P4), which is adjacent to Hampton Inn and directly across the street from the VBC Box Office, as well as Parking Lot K (P5), known as the “Former Meadow Gold Lot.” Both city parking venues can be accessed via Clinton Street.
