Alabama football’s College Football Playoff hopes may be lost.
After a 24-3 road loss to Oklahoma in Norman, the Crimson Tide were ranked No. 13 in the fourth week of the CFP rankings. Alabama is on the outside looking in as the second team out of the 12-team CFP where three SEC teams remain in the hunt: Tennessee, Georgia and Texas.
Alabama is the top three-loss team in the CFP top-25 ahead of teams such as South Carolina and Ole Miss after losses to the Sooners, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
The Crimson Tide is also the top three-loss team in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll and the AP Poll at No. 13.
Alabama will take on Auburn to finish the 2024 regular season at 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday on ABC.
