AUBURN − Auburn football is rolling in a season opening matchup with Alabama A&M.
The offense has scored on four of their first five drives, with Payton Thorne having three of them. One of those went to super star freshman Cam Coleman, who scored his first career touchdown in the first quarter.
It is the second season under Hugh Freeze, who went 6-7 with a Music City Bowl loss in his opening season. Freeze came to the Plains from Liberty, and previously coached at Ole Miss.
The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+ at Jordan Hare Stadium.
