How did Alabama transfers perform at their respective schools in Week 1 of the 2024 season?

Louisville Cardinals wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks (1) celebrates his touchdown during their game against the Austin Peay Governors on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024 at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium in Louisville, Ky.

The Alabama Crimson Tide kicked off the 2024 season on Saturday against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. The Crimson Tide came away with a 63-0 in Week 1. During the offseason, there were multiple players that transferred away from the program following the retirement of former Alabama head coach Nick Saban.

With that said, there were a lot of transfers that suited up for a new program for the first time this weekend. There were also Alabama transfers that are entering their second and third seasons at different schools. Needless to say, the Crimson Tide have lost a lot of players to the transfer portal over the years.

Roll Tide Wire breaks down how Alabama transfers performed at their respective schools in Week 1 of the 2024 season.
