How every Alabama offseason transfer has performed so far this season

Aug 31, 2024; Columbus, OH, USA; Ohio State Buckeyes safety Caleb Downs (2) warms up prior to the NCAA football game against the Akron Zips at Ohio Stadium.

It is no secret that the Alabama Crimson Tide’s roster was affected massively by the transfer portal this past offseason, with a big reason as to why being the retirement of long-time head coach Nick Saban.

While a numerous amount of players entered the portal after the season ended, numerous others exited the program after Saban officially retired, which in turn made Alabama’s roster lack in depth at some key positions when Kalen DeBoer took over.

In all, this number of transfers during the offseason amounted to 30+ players overall, which included a few prominent 2023 starters for the Crimson Tide as well that have gone on to play similar roles with their new respective teams.

Here is a look at how every former Alabama transfer from this past offseason has performed up to this point in the 2024 college football season with a FBS program (Stats mentioned are current entering Week 10):
