Most Americans believed America was moving in the wrong direction before the 2024 election. Culturally, politically, militarily, international relations, education . .. you name it, we were displeased. Big changes are coming and some of them will occur before Trump even takes office.
Here’s my Captain Obvious list:
1. Hamas will release the hostages before Inauguration Day, just like what happened with Reagan in 1981.
2. Military recruitment will skyrocket. Americanism and traditional patriotism will gain as woke DEI Socialism declines.
3. Legacy Media – will continue to trash the president, probably much worse. Fortunately, more people watch the Food Channel. Perhaps a news media renaissance? I’m not holding my breath. It will become less and less important if it doesn’t change with the times.
4. The Education Department – gone by October 2026. That’s millions a year back to the states where it can be spent according to needs not wants.
5. Tariffs are a tool to negotiate cooperation. They worked great first time and will again. Those countries will cave before or soon after they are imposed.
6. The illegals. The plan is #1 – violent criminals out. #2 – really shut down the border.
7. National Abortion Ban. No. The permission to stop a baby from being born is right where it belongs … in your heart and in the statehouse. Deal with it.
8. No more elections? The death of democracy? Right. Is that in 2026, 2028 or when monkeys fly? out “He said it! He said it! Well … he said something like that.
9. We will see $1.75 gasoline.
11. Birthright citizenship will go away.
12. No more ‘”Spring ahead, fall back!’
13. Republicans will continue to blow victories because of a few stubborn congressmen and Democrats will continue to vote lockstep to block absolutely everything in the Trump agenda.
14. A rising tide raises all ships so even those suffering from TDS will prosper …and credit the genius of Biden.
Like Reagan, Trump simply reminds us how blessed we are in this “One nation under God.” If you’re counting on Trump doing all the work and your just enjoying the fruits of his labor, you will be disappointed. Every generation is challenged to get educated in the principles that make this country work and recognize the evil that is dedicated to its destruction. It’s time to stand up, man up and get to work.
