Kassidy Cook and Sarah Bacon sizzled during the competition, and their synchronized performance was good enough to earn them silver medals. Could the story have been better if they had gone for gold? Yes, of course, but silver is an outstanding achievement as well – and their names together are worth more than gold anyways.

So the United States of America is off to a hot start. One could even say the competition is already heating up on the griddle thanks to “Cook N’ Bacon.”
For us Americans, we couldn’t have asked for a better start to the games. Like I said, gold medal position would have been nice (if you ain’t first, you’re last), but having our great country’s first medal earned by a duo that implies bacon has been cooked, or is being cooked, is about as legendary as it gets.
