An intersectional America, and world, this presidential year: Marvin A. McMickle

CLEVELAND — Intersectionality is a term that all Americans need to understand, especially as the 2024 presidential election cycle unfolds. Popularized by Kimberlé Crenshaw, who teaches law at both Columbia University and UCLA, the term means that few, if any, people can be understood or discussed in a one-dimensional manner.

Each of us live at multiple intersections that make us the unique people that we are.
