Things have been going according to plan for Argentina thus far at the 2024 Copa America. Lionel Messi and Co. opened the tournament with a 2-0 win over Canada and they followed that up with a 1-0 win over Chile.
With the squad a perfect 2-0 thus far, they have six points and they’re at the top of the Group A table. Matter of fact, they’ve already qualified for the quarterfinals.

Argentina will close out group play against Peru this weekend, but Messi has already said he’s not going to play. In the next round, the South American giants will take on a team from Group B with a trip to the semifinals on the line. It’s up in the air who that will be, but you better believe Argentina will be the favorites for that one.
