Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister has just helped Argentina clinch history after their Copa America success.
The nation defeated Colombia 1-0 after extra-time at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, with Lautaro Martinez netting the winner in the 112th minute.
Argentina have now won the prestigious competition 16 times following their victory, more than any other country.
And playing a key role was Anfield star Mac Allister, who started against Liverpool teammate Luis Diaz in Miami Gardens.
The former was then substituted seven minutes into extra-time, with Diaz also being withdrawn shortly after.

The Argentine media have since shared their exact thoughts on how the victorious players performed, with the nation winning despite losing talisman Lionel Messi to injury just after the hour-mark.
Handing Mac Allister an 8/10 rating, Ole wrote of the midfielder: “Fighter as always, but also the protagonist of several of the dangerous plays of the National Team.
“He set up a play at the start of the second half that ended in Di Maria’s shot and was the author of the header in the play that all of Argentina claimed a penalty.”

Goal were also impressed, rating Mac Allister 7/10 and saying: “Passing was fantastic, he did plenty of defensive work and he had one decent chance to score blocked away. If something good was happening for Argentina, Mac Allister was probably involved.”
How did the Liverpool star do for Argentina vs Colombia?
But other outlets were not so quick to praise the Liverpool midfielder, with ESPN writing: “Alexis Mac Allister, 6 — An average evening for the Liverpool midfielder who was no doubt affected by the prematch crowd issues that forced him to intervene to ensure his family’s safety.”
TYC Sports meanwhile also rated him 6/10, writing: “Alexis was extremely exhausted. He tried to be the main player after Messi’s first injury. He almost scored with a header.”

The Liverpool star was crucial to his nation’s run to the final, with Chelsea ace Enzo Fernandez having praised Mac Allister after their semi-final win over Canada.
Both Mac Allister and Diaz will be expected back at Anfield later this summer after their international commitments, with Liverpool pre-season training already underway.
Arne Slot has already been impressed by one Copa America participant, with new Reds goalkeeping coach Fabian Otte cutting his holidays short to be at Anfield after working with the USA team during the major tournament.
