Jim Dean highlights AIA high school football championships
Associate Executive Director Jim Dean highlights the final championship matchups during the AIA high school football championships media day.
The final four Arizona high school football state championship games are Friday and Saturday, all at Arizona State’s Mountain America Stadium in Tempe.
Tucson Mica Mountain takes on Chandler Arizona College Prep in 4A at 4 p.m. Friday. That’s followed by Goodyear Desert Edge and Glendale Cactus in the 5A championship at 8 p.m. On Saturday, Mesa Mountain View meets Peoria Centennial in the 6A title game at 1 p.m. After that, it’s the Open Division championship, featuring Peoria Liberty vs. Chandler Basha, at 6 p.m.
