8 Crazy Arizona Laws That Are Really On The Books

Every state, yep, even Texas, has got some weird laws on the books and Arizona is no different when it comes to loony laws.

Weird laws are everywhere in the United States of America with every state having at least a couple in place. Texas, for example, makes it illegal for churches to not provide a place for people to spit. The lone star state also doesn’t want anyone taking pictures on its railroad tracks.

I didn’t find anything on Arizona railroad laws but they frown on spitting.

According to the Goodyear Code of Ordinances, §11-1-15, it’s unlawful for any person to spit on any of the public sidewalks or crosswalks in the city. It’s also illegal to spit on any public path, byway or highway, in or on any public ground or park in the city, or upon the floor or interior of any public building in the city. – jeffgouldlaw.com

You better not trip any horses either. That’s also a no – no that could cost you up to a grand and/or 48 hours in the local clink. Saguaro are sacred, feeding a pig garbage is also illegal … unless it’s YOUR garbage and YOUR pig … and if you’ve had too much to drink at the bar, you have 30 minutes to get over it.
