Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will face off in Arizona for the state’s 11 Electoral College votes. The state has become a hotly contested battleground that will be critical in deciding the winner this year. Trump’s pitch to voters has focused on the economy, immigration and crime. Harris, since taking over as the Democratic standard-bearer after President Joe Biden dropped out, has argued she would usher in a new era and has campaigned on improving the care economy, protecting abortion rights and guarding democracy. In 2020, Joe Biden won Arizona with 49.4% of the vote to Trump’s 49.1%. In 2016, Trump won Arizona with 50% to Hillary Clinton’s 45%.
