New USMNT coach shares philosophy for making team a contender in 2026 World Cup

PSV has rejected a bid from Club América for right back Richy Ledezma, according to Dutch newspaper Eindhovens Dagblad.
Ledezma’s contract with PSV is set to expire in June, with América interested in securing his services this month for a minimal fee.
Per the report, the Liga MX champion’s bid didn’t even reach seven figures. That led to a swift rejection, as PSV currently sees the 24-year-old as an important player.
Ledezma has enjoyed an excellent comeback campaign with the Dutch champions, making 17 total appearances at an unfamiliar right back position.
The dual Mexican-American national has spent most of his career as an attacking midfielder, but has successfully transitioned to a position where PSV has been thin after Sergiño Dest tore his ACL last year.
Ledezma is still eligible for both Mexico and the United States internationally, and has been capped once by the U.S. men’s national team. He has also represented the U.S. at several youth levels.
América will kick off its quest for a fourth straight Liga MX title on Friday when it faces Querétaro in the Clausura opener.
PSV, meanwhile, leads the Eredivisie as it chases a second straight league title, and returns from the winter break on Jan. 11 with a match against AZ.
