Simone Biles rocks a greatest of all time “GOAT” diamond necklace
A gold medal wasn’t the only thing around Simone Biles’ neck as she rocked a greatest of all time “GOAT” necklace following her historic win.
U.S. women’s gymnasts’ Olympic medal winners Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles and Jade Carey, and a group of other gymnasts are taking their talents throughout the United States as part of a post-2024 Paris Olympics tour that will stop in Phoenix next month.
The Gold Over America Tour is scheduled to come to Footprint Center on Sept. 18, its second night of the tour after opening in Oceanside, Calif., Sept. 17.
The tour is scheduled to visit 30 cities throughout the country, ending in Detroit Nov. 3.
Fred Richard, Brody Malone, Paul Juda, Stephen Nedoroscik and Joscelyn Roberson are some of the other gymnasts scheduled to be on the tour, but Biles, who added to her record Olympic medal haul with a gold medal in the women’s vault final on Saturday, is the headliner.

The tour website, goldoveramerica.com describes the show as follows: “Led by Biles, the most decorated gymnast of all time, the Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour — or GOAT, its sublime acronym — brings an exhilarating display of jaw-dropping athletic brilliance and high-energy choreography coupled with inspirational messages of hope, strength, resilience, and determination. Every tumble, twist, and gravity-defying trick will have audiences on the edge of their seat at every performance.”
Carey, an Arizona native who attended Glendale Mountain Ridge High, is bound to get a lot of attention at the Phoenix tour stop after winning the bronze medal in the women’s vault final Saturday at the Paris Games, joining Biles, who won the gold, on the podium. Carey also won gold as part of the team artistic gymnastics’ final last week.
Tickets — or at least an opportunity to join the queue for tickets — for the show in Phoenix, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, are on sale now.
