In awe of the Neapolitan pizza he tasted while on a cycling trip through Italy, Caleb Schiff returned to Flagstaff and started making plans to open his own pizza place. Founded in 2011, Pizzicletta offers a simple menu featuring fresh bold flavours. Containing only the freshest ingredients, the mouth-watering pizzas are cooked in a wood-fire oven hand-built in Naples. Notable choices include the pizza bianca topped with almonds, charred kale, gorgonzola, olive oil, and lemon juice and the classic margherita with tomato, basil, house mozzarella, and olive oil. Diners can round out their meal with wine chosen to complement their pizza plus tantalising house-made gelato.
