Mixbook, a popular photobook company, surveyed 3,000 Americans to create the list of the 100 most photo-worthy views in the United States.
The Grand Canyon from Mather Point was ranked among the top 10 views in the United States. The view of Monument Valley from John Ford’s Point was also ranked in the top 100.

How did the Grand Canyon view from Mather Point rank?
The Grand Canyon from Mather Point came in seventh place overall, topping views of iconic places like Cape Cod, Niagara Falls and the Las Vegas Strip.
“Mather Point, situated on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, offers one of the most iconic perspectives of this natural wonder,” a news release from Mixbook stated. “Located near the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, this spot provides a sweeping vista of the canyon’s vast, colorful expanse, particularly striking during sunrise or sunset.”
How did the Monument Valley view from John Ford’s Point rank?
John Ford’s Point, near the Utah/Arizona state line, offers sweeping vistas of Monument Valley, including the Thumb, Camel Butte, the Three Sisters and Elephant Butte. It ranked 32nd on the list of 100 breathtaking views.
