Arkansas President Election 2024 Live Results

Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will face off in Arkansas for the state’s six Electoral College votes. Trump’s pitch to voters has focused on the economy, immigration and crime. Harris, since taking over as the Democratic standard-bearer after President Joe Biden dropped out, has argued she would usher in a new era and has campaigned on improving the care economy, protecting abortion rights and guarding democracy. The conservative state voted to back Trump in the last two elections. In 2020, Trump won Arkansas with 35% of the vote to Joe Biden’s 35%. In 2016, Trump won Arkansas with 60% to Hillary Clinton’s 34%. The last two Democratic candidates to win the state were from the South: Jimmy Carter, the former governor of Georgia, in 1976, and Bill Clinton, then the governor of Arkansas, in 1992, and again in 1996.
