LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The 2025 Miss America competition is set to kick off at Orlando’s Walt Disney Theater this weekend.
103 delegates from across the United States, the District of Columbia and, for the first time since 2018, Puerto Rico, will contend for the coveted titles of Miss America and Miss America’s Teen.
Camille Cathey of Wynne was crowned Miss Arkansas at the Robinson Center in Little Rock on Jun. 15 and will represent the Natural State in the competition.
Peyton Bolling is Arkansas’s delegate for Miss America’s Teen.
Arkansas has won the Miss America title three times.
Donna Axum of El Dorado won in 1964, Elizabeth Ward of Russellville won in 1981 and, most recently, Savvy Shields of Fayetteville won in 2016.
Winners of the Miss America competition receive tuition scholarship money they can use at an accredited college of their choice.
The winner of the competition is set to receive $50,000 in scholarship awards, while the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Runner Ups will receive $10,000 each.
The Miss America’s Teen Finals kick off at 7 p.m. on Saturday while the Miss America Finals kick off at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
