Arkansas Handweavers Guild
The Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Sept. 14 at the Shiloh Meeting Hall on the campus of the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History located at 118 W. Johnson Ave. in Springdale. The series will help weavers discover the full potential of the little and often forgotten loom, which is portable, easy to warp and fun. Guests are always welcome.
The guild continues the year-long celebration of the 75th anniversary of its founding with an exhibit at the Boone County Library in Harrison throughout the month of September. Two programs are scheduled for Sept. 10 and 28 with local guild members giving hands-on weaving demonstrations.
