Groups and clinics work to provide choices for uninsured, underinsured patients

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences held a free mobile health screening administering flu shots to patients. UAMS mobile health screenings happen two to three times a week at different locations providing free or low cost health care options for low-income patients. While there are opportunities for uninsured and underinsured patients in the region seeking free and low-cost specialty care, experts say the options are limited much in the same way specialty care services are in general.
