After a nationwide search, the Faymonville Group has chosen Little Rock for its first U.S. production site, a $100 million investment expected to bring 500 direct jobs to the region. The 54-acre facility at the Port of Little Rock will initially cover 409,000 square feet, expanding to 624,000 in Phase 2. Faymonville, a family-owned global leader in heavy-load and special transport vehicle manufacturing, will begin limited production in early 2026, strengthening service and spare parts support for its Cometto brand.

“We don’t just supply special vehicles, we provide comprehensive transport solutions,” said Paul Hönen, U.S. market representative for Faymonville. “What we particularly value about the U.S. market is its enormous potential, its practical, solution-driven mindset, and the simpler administration compared to Europe.”

The company worked closely with Arkansas officials and economic leaders, meeting Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Secretary of Commerce Hugh McDonald, and Little Rock Regional Chamber President Jay Chesshir in a multi-phase vetting process. Relationships with Hale Trailer, the largest independent trailer dealership in North America, and the Little Rock Regional Chamber aided in securing the site.

“Our low taxes and strong workforce sold Faymonville on Little Rock for their first U.S. facility. With access to road, river, rail, and the ability to get things done quickly, our capital city is proving itself as a manufacturing and logistics hub,” said Gov. Sanders. “It was great to meet with the family behind this successful company while I was in London for the Farnborough Airshow this summer and play a role in landing this $100 million investment and 500 good-paying Arkansas jobs.”

Faymonville plans to support local economic growth and offer career opportunities in steel construction, surface treatment, and assembly while establishing a “Made in America” product line for the U.S. market.
