Joe Rogan and Elon Musk agreed during a two and a half hour podcast — where Rogan endorsed former President Donald Trump — that this election will be the “last” in the United States if Trump loses.
Rogan followed Musk in endorsing Trump despite his past criticism of the Republican, and the former president touted the podcaster’s backing at a rally this week. In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience released on Monday, Rogan and Musk agreed the stakes are high in this election as Musk repeatedly pushed listeners to get out and vote like their “life depends on it.”
Musk spent a solid portion of the podcast pushing his belief that an inflow of illegal immigrants in states under Democrats will turn every state towards the far left policies of California, a state both Rogan and Musk called home before they ditched for red state Texas.
Rogan asked if Musk was just pushing conspiracy talk, noting at one point that late President Ronald Reagan gave amnesty to more than two million illegal immigrants in 1986.
“The more you look at it, the more obviously it is true. [These illegals] haven’t just walked across the border they’ve been flown in airplanes to the swing states,” Musk claimed.
The X owner added, “If the Dems win this election, they will legalize enough illegals to turn the swing states and everywhere will be like California. There will be no escape.”
“That is so insane,” Rogan responded.
Musk later reiterated his point that this could be the “last election” if Vice President Kamala Harris wins. Harris and her team have similarly argued that “democracy” is on the line if Trump wins the presidency again.
“If Trump doesn’t win, this is the last election,” Musk said.
Rogan told Musk he’s “right,” noting a number of people who have jumped from the left to the right, like Tulsi Gabbard.
“I think you’re right. I think a lot of people are waking that have been lifelong Democrats. Guys like Bill Ackman — Tulsi Gabbard switched over to the Republicans. Like, there’s a lot of people who their whole life have been left wing, and they realize, like, I can’t do this anymore,” he said.
“You and I used to be Democrats,” Musk responded.
“Yeah, it’s nuts,” Rogan said.
