Election Day is a week away; for many, it can not come soon enough. After nearly two years of electioneering, the voters are ready for this contest to wrap up, hoping that governance in the nation’s capital can serve their interests again.
Today, Vice President Kamala Harris will head to Washington, D.C., for a rally on the National Mall. The Democrats believe one of their strongest attacks on Donald Trump concerns his unwillingness to protect American democracy. The Democratic nominee will likely speak about the events of January 6th, 2021, and urge the public to endorse her candidacy over Donald Trump, who Democrats see as culpable in the attack on the capital.
Donald Trump’s campaign will be heading to the swing states in an attempt to increase turnout there.
