Children's Mercy Park to host Canada versus Peru in Copa America 2024 group stage on June 25

Currently 50th in the FIFA rankings, Canada is led by Bayern Munich left back Alphonso Davies and LOSC Lille forward Jonathan David. After competing in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and reaching the 2022-23 Concacaf Nations League Final, Canada will play in Copa America for the first time and will face a Peru side ranked 33 in the FIFA rankings. Peru is led by 40-year-old striker Paolo Guerrero who has the most Copa America goals of any active player and has the most goals in Peru national team history.
