The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s holiday lights display was ranked No. 1 by USA TODAY readers for the seventh year in a row.
USA TODAY’s 10Best published the results of its 2024 Readers’ Choice poll Friday. Cincinnati Zoo’s PNC Festival of Lights earned the top spot in the poll’s Zoo Lights category, followed by the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, Colorado and the Toledo Zoo’s Lights Before Christmas.
Those visiting the 42nd annual PNC Festival of Lights this year can enjoy the spectacle of 5 million LED lights, Fiona the Hippo fairies interspersed throughout the display, rides on the North Polar Express Train and more.
The Cincinnati Zoo’s display runs now through Jan. 5. The last day to visit with Santa in Santa’s Village is Dec. 23.
The Cincinnati Zoo boasts several USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, including being named the No. 1 botanical garden earlier this year.
