The culture and history of rural America have been captured in art for many years, and on August 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. – noon, your kids will have the opportunity to capture the beauty they see in art as well. For our August kid’s program, participants will learn ways in which people have brought beauty into their own lives as well as bringing out the colors of rural America. Barn quilt painting, a tour of the exhibit “Crossroads-Change in Rural America”, snacks and more are in store for those who attend.
Seats are limited for this children’s program and they are by reservation only – 970-522-3895. Recommended ages are 6 – 10 years old and the cost is $3.00 per child. Call or message the Overland Trail Museum to reserve your child’s place now, but don’t wait! These spots will go fast!
