North Dakota State at Colorado: Who are the experts picking?

On Thursday evening, North Dakota State will become the first Football Championship Subdivision team to visit Folsom Field since 2021 when the Colorado Buffaloes made quick work of in-state foe Northern Colorado, 35-7.

College football analysts across the country are predicting a much closer battle between the Buffs and Bison, however. North Dakota State, which enters the 2024 season with a new head coach in Tim Polasek, remains an elite FCS program and has received high praise from Colorado head coach Deion Sanders.

Kickoff between Colorado and NDSU is set for 6 p.m. MT on ESPN.

Following an offseason of improvements on the offensive and defensive lines, Colorado will handle North Dakota State’s physical style of play better than most expect. Also, Shedeur Sanders and his talented group of receivers should put up some massive numbers in the passing game.
