Deion Sanders and the Colorado football team will play in front of another sold-out crowd today.
The Buffaloes host No. 18 Kansas State for a Big 12 game that could define the season for both teams. It’s the fifth straight sellout crowd Colorado will play in front of (home and away), but that doesn’t mean that Sanders is pleased with the start time of Saturday night’s game.
“Who does that to us, man, like who does that? How stupid is that? It’s not smart for a television executive to say we’re going to put this game on at this time,” Sanders said Thursday on the Colorado football coaches show. “I mean, you’re thinking about eyeballs, you’re thinking about selling merchandise in the commercials, you’re thinking about all of that.
“Why would you do it at that time when half of America is asleep? None of the people I know would do something stupid like that.”
