A JetBlue lounge is coming to Logan Airport
The publication recently published a list of the 10 best airlines for 2024, part of its 2024 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, and JetBlue ranked No. 9.
The airlines on the list “strive to improve the flyer experience with newer planes, better connectivity, and improved food and entertainment,” wrote the publication.
Here’s what USA Today wrote about JetBlue:
“JetBlue caters to passengers with new and refreshed aircraft, plentiful routes, free inflight connectivity, and generous amounts of legroom in economy class. JetBlue flies to more than 100 cities across the U.S., Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe, with live TV and inflight Wi-Fi available on all flights.”
The No. 1 airline for 2024 is Southwest, according to USA Today readers, because the carrier “offers low fares, free baggage allowance, no fees for flight changes or cancellations, and spacious seats, compared to their competitors.”
JetBlue also ranked No. 8 for best economy class (No. 1 is Porter Airlines) and No. 7 for best inflight entertainment (No. 1 is Air New Zealand).
For the 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards lists, USA Today travel experts select 20 nominees in topics from food to lodging, destinations to things to do. Then the publication asks readers to cast votes to determine the top 10.
Last week, JetBlue announced that a JetBlue lounge is coming to Logan Airport in 2025.
Over the summer, the airline announced a major expansion in New England and as of Sept. 6, JetBlue customers in the airline’s cheapest fare class can bring a carry-on bag for free.
Boston.com readers shared how they feel about flying JetBlue this past summer (59 percent said they like it) after former Boston Globe editor Brian McGrory wrote an open letter to JetBlue president Marty St. George saying JetBlue has not aged well.
JetBlue is Logan Airport‘s largest carrier.
