Former Minnesota Governor and Independent voter Jesse Ventura has announced that he’s endorsing Kamala Harris for President of the United States.
Ventura, who was backstage at last week’s episode of WWE RAW in Minneapolis, MN and met with CM Punk, appeared on CNN on Friday night to announce his endorsement for Harris and Tim Walz. He also blasted Republican candidate for Vice President, JD Vance, and his recent attack on Walz for his military service.
Ventura said, “I’ve only got a few elections to go, I’m 73 years old now … so the window’s closing. I want to be alive to see the first woman President of the United States of America, and the first woman Commander in Chief, and we’ve got her right now! Yes, I want to see a woman President. It’s time for a woman President. We men have screwed it up enough!”
It’s worth noting that Kamala Harris has recently pulled ahead of Donald Trump in many of the mainstream media polls. Of course, there’s a little under three months left before the general election takes place so a lot can change between now and then.
