The Green Bay Packers and USA Football, the sport’s national governing body and a recognized sports organization of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, recently awarded USA Football fall grants to youth football organizations throughout Wisconsin. The extensive grant offerings support the development of grassroots programs so they may continue to bring local communities together and inspire a new generation of football athletes and fans.
USA Football’s grants program, which is made possible by support from the NFL Foundation, complements the Packers’ continued support of grassroots football by awarding new equipment and resources to local youth programs based on merit and need. This allows young athletes to continue enjoying America’s favorite sport while learning life lessons and building friendships.
Local youth football programs receiving a 2024 USA Football fall grant include:
Poynette Panthers Youth Football in Poynette, Wis.
St. Francis Xavier Football in Cross Plains, Wis.
Pardeeville Youth Football in Pardeeville, Wis.
Fox Valley Pop Warner Football in Appleton, Wis.
McFarland Youth Football Inc. in McFarland, Wis.
Columbus Football Organization in Columbus, Wis.
Southeastern Wisconsin Brew City Pop Warner in Milwaukee, Wis.
Mad Town Elite in Madison, Wis.
“The Packers constantly search for new ways to support youth football in Wisconsin,” said USA Football CEO Scott Hallenbeck. “We’re thankful for this chance to work together for the benefit of youth football organizations and local football communities. Our fall grants ensure programs have access to crucial up to date equipment and resources so youth athletes may enjoy America’s favorite sport.”
Nationwide, USA Football’s fall grant recipients represent more than 630 youth sports organizations that were awarded approximately $350,000 in new youth football equipment. Throughout the 2024 calendar year, USA Football has awarded approximately $1.1 million in grants to deserving youth football leagues and multi-sport youth programs.
Since 2006, USA Football has awarded more than $21 million in grants to youth and school-based football programs, which has directly benefited youth and high school players across 14,000 programs in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
