Washington | The second assassination attempt of Donald Trump in two months is a sobering reminder of just how close America is to a full-blown national crisis.
US Secret Service agents fired shots at a man armed with an AK-47-style rifle and a scope hiding in the bushes bordering Trump’s golf course in Florida on Sunday (Monday AEST). Agents spotted the rifle through the course’s fence while the former president was playing golf about 270 to 450 metres away.
