United States vs Canada Highlights, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024: Aaron Jones smashed an unbeaten 94 off 40 to power USA to a seven-wicket win over Canada in the opening match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Dallas. Jones struck four fours and 10 sixes to win player-of-the-match award and was well supported by Andries Gous who made 65 off 46 as the two struck a century partnership that took the game away from Canada.
Earlier, Navneet Dhaliwal and Nicholas Kirton struck half-centuries as Canada posted a challenging 194/5. Dhaliwal made 61 while Kirton 51. Shreyas Movva provided the late flourish with a blazing cameo – an unbeaten 32 off 16. For USA, Harmeet Singh, Corey Anderson and Ali Khan took a wicket each.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is set to get underway and we have a North American showdown first up as co-hosts United States of America face Canada at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas today.
It will be a first for both the sides at this grand stage. The USA are making their first appearance in a World Cup while Canada will be making their first appearance in a T20 World Cup.
The United States has had a fairly dominant record against their neighbours and will be looking to keep it up. In the lead up to the T20 showpiece, they stunned Bangladesh in a bilateral T20I series.
