Earlier this week, the Copa América kicked off (pun intended) in Atlanta, and Thursday, the game is back at Mercedes-Benz!
We’ve made a guide to everything you need to know about the Copa América USA vs. Panama game!
First, you’ve gotta know the basics. If you’re on the way to a watch party but you have no idea what the Copa América is, don’t worry… we’ve got you.
The Copa América is one of the most prestigious soccer–or football–tournaments in the entire world. This year, six Concacaf (Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football) teams, which includes the U.S., Mexico, Jamaica, Panama, Canada and Costa Rica, will join ten CONMEBOL (South American Football Confederation–the acronym makes sense in Spanish) teams. These teams include Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Eduador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. This 16-team tournament will have matches held in 14 different cities!

Panama and USA will play right here in Atlanta, at Mercedes-Benz this Thursday, June 27th, 2024 at 6pm.
The gates will open at 4pm.

The stadium has great food and drinks, so make sure you come hungry! All bags must also be CLEAR plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. Non-clear bags that are smaller than 4.5” x 6.5” will also be allowed into the stadium.
Who’s going to win the Panama vs USA game?
Right now, the favorite to win is USA. USA won its game against Bolivia 2-0, and currently has a win probability of 68%.
So head to Mercedes-Benz to cheer for USA and watch some phenomenal soccer!
