In response, Saurabh Netravalkar kept Pakistan down to 13/1 to ensure a victory for USA. Iftikhar Ahmed and Fakhar Zaman opened for Pakistan and Shadab Khan replaced Iftikhar after he fell for 4 off 3 but they could not save tha game for Pakistan.

Monank Patel Adjudged Player Of The Match It was USA's Monank Patel who was adjudged the Player Of the Match for his 50 off 38 as his effort helped USA level the scores in the first place. Nosthush Kenjige (3/30 off his 4 overs) and Saurabh Netravalkar (2/18 off his 4 overs, in addition to his Super Over effort) were the other star performers for USA.

Pakistan were sloppy on the field which cost them the game. They will India next in a marquee encounter on June 9 in New York. USA, meanwhile, will face India on June 12.
