Christian Pulisic opened the scoring in the 3rd minute on a fantastic strike, assisted by Tim Weah. Pulisic then assisted Folarin Balogun, who scored the second in the 44th minute. The US maintained 61% possession and outshot Bolivia 20-6 (8-3 on target). The xG battle went 2.40 – 0.18 in favor of the US (according to FotMob’s xG model). That model recorded 3 big chances for the US and none for Bolivia, and funny enough, all 3 of those big US chances were missed.
